The Beginning

Week 02

Chan Sau Ha

Continuing with the momentum built in the first week, I found myself benefitting even more from the 1-to-1 sessions I had with Nancy, especially with batting.

This week I coached my club’s junior team for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced. Many girls and parents turned up and the training atmosphere was fantastic. I also loved how lively the ground was with training, U11 and U17 games happening.

I last watched a game at Lord’s 10 years ago and what a treat to do this again now, especially a T20i between England and Australia. What a treat to be part of such a gripping game.

This week concluded with a visit to London, where I visited many sightseeing spots and markets. Very happy with the food scene and enjoyed the hustle and bustle of London a lot. Can’t wait for next week to come.

This is my first time travel to UK. Luckly got the chance to watch Ashes T20I 2 nd Game at The Kia Oval stadium (member area) and 3 rd Game at Lord’s Cricket Ground, very crowded and the atmosphere was amazing. Watching many great bowling, batting and catching in my eyes.

I can’t image I can meet Sophia Dunkley and Danielle Wyatt at Lord’s Cricket Ground. We took some funny photos. Also met with Bryce’s sister, both of the peoples I met b ecause of AMF and Fairbreak gave me the opportunity.

This week we joined Southern Vipers training, bowling and fielding.

I learnt how to play spin bowler at two to one session, great to learn how to play leg spin.

Beside of cricket, we went to sightseeing and met Hong Kong Women’s Cricket Team (UK crew) in London, London eye, London Bridge and ate some great seafood at Borough Market, there are so many peoples on Saturday.
