Things didn't go as smoothly as I liked this week but I was committed to every opportunity to be better. Train’s were on strike and we decided to take a taxi to the training ground just so we could train. The weather again got in our way as Sunday’s game was called off due to heavy rain. We were going to grasp every chance to improve so instead of going home, we trained with our teammates. It was good fun.

The great thing about this week's 1-to-1 training was I stepped out of my comfort zone. I trained on my weaknesses. And the coach tailored the training to my needs and gave some very good advice.

As I started to settle into life in the UK, I could feel I go from strength to strength. I ran everyday, a challenge that I took up recently. It was great to go for a run in British summer. Great scenery and there is still light at 9 in the evening.

Coaching was fun as well. Enjoyed my time very much when coaching the junior girls, a bubbly and talented bunch. It was a good challenge to play with them, and I had to bat cautiously against them. All in all, I am pretty happy with my progress this week.

Nice training with Aldershot girls, I found out they like to play a game call “Doneyi”. We had a friendly T20 against Bagshot Lea Cricket Club men's team, it was a good experience to bowl to the men. 4-1-28-3 not a bad outing with the ball.

Friday night is Aldershot Cricket Club Ladies BBQ, drinks and food flowing. The most Important part was the Karaoke and dancing!
Everyone had to sing a song, of course me and Charlotte must sing, as the overseas players. I really enjoy the evening dancing with the girls.

Video analysis is a good way to look back at yourself and how you bowl and bat. That has helped me to improve and know my game better.

Unfortunately, the weather here has not been good for us. Our game this weekend was called off after 20 overs.

Finger's crossed the weather is good for the next two weeks so that I can play as much cricket as possible!
